The GYLO Story....
The original salon, then known as Get Your Locks Off, was founded in Geraldton in 2008 and quickly built a reputation for itself by delivering consistently high quality services and hair care products to its clients.
In 2013, the business was purchased and given a new look by long standing employee, Louise Collard.
Under her steady guidance, and with the help of its dedicated staff, loyal clients and supporters within the community, the business continued to grow, while also becoming more involved in its local community, supporting community events and local charities, unequivocally cementing its place as a part of the local community and as one of Geraldton and the Midwest regions leading hair salons.
Now, ten years after its founding, and continuing in its tradition of growing and developing its staff, the salon has again been purchased by a former apprentice and long standing staff member, Jackson McEvoy.
Jackson has a passion for the industry and for GYLO, and is ready, thanks to the lessons learned during his tenure there, to push the business to new heights and to help it achieve its full potential.
Under Jacksons hand, the business, now named "GYLO Salon & Barber" as a tribute to its past, maintains its focus on providing superior client care and has recently expanded into luxurious new premises at Level 1 141 Marine Terrace, Geraldton.
Within this beautiful space, the salon endeavors to honor and build on the its hard won reputation for excellence by both continuing to deliver our clients the premium products and services that they've come to expect from us, but also by delivering a unique and luxurious customer experience that is unlike any they have experienced in Geraldton before.
In order to help us achieve this we have recently partnered with Australias leading haircare brands Schwarzkopf Professional & Alterna HairCare, who together have created some of the most technologically advanced haircare products and treatments on the market today.
Together we believe that there is nothing we can't achieve in client care, or customer experience.
